Matthew and Sarah (; are the founding pastors of RiverLife Fellowship – Chapel Hill. Starting in Youth Ministry from 1999-2004, they served as Associate Pastors from 2005-2013 at RiverLife Fellowship – Mooresville.  Matthew has a vision for “The Adventure School”, a Kingdom ministry & missions school at RiverLife Chapel Hill. He loves coffee shops & driving his Jeep with the top down.  Hiking & anything outdoors are his passion.  Sarah is a worship leader at River Life Chapel Hill and the busy mom of the 6 Bollinger kids – Noah (22), Judah (19), Gabe (16), Ben (14), Anna Grace (11), & Lydia (8).  She enjoys working out & spending time with friends.

Matthew, Sarah, and their children are committed to seeing God “awaken” His church in Chapel Hill and throughout America through revival. Their passions in ministry include extravagant worship, reaching the world with the Gospel through miracles, signs and wonders, and seeing the grace of God transform lives on a daily basis through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bollingers are eagerly expectant for whatever the Lord will do next to glorify His Son and expand His Kingdom in our community!

Eva Zarzar — Worship Leader (

Eva is a lover of Jesus the King and has a deep desire to see His kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Also a Raleigh native and aspiring educator who enjoys drinking coffee, hiking and spending time with friends and family.

Tavitris Bracey — Associate Pastor (

Tavitris joined our team in March, 2019.  He and his wife, Elizabeth, have a baby boy, Amaziah.  They share a passion for community and young adults.  Their passion for Jesus and His church is contagious!

Michael Pham — Campus Leader, UNC Wellspring (

Michael is a North Carolina native who experienced the redeeming love and power of Jesus Christ in March, 2007. His passion is to lead others to pursue intimacy with Jesus and see others mature as sons and daughters of the King who fulfill their Kingdom purpose in their lives. In particular, Michael has a heart for the next generation of middle school, high school, and college students to experience God moving in their lives. In his free time, Michael enjoys cheering for the Lakers, bowling, playing spades, and eating red velvet cake!

Steve Bollinger — Lead Elder (

Martha ( and Steve are Matthew’s parents. Steve is a 30 year veteran of teaching school at Cresset Christian Academy and Martha had been executive secretary at Caramore Community in Carrboro for 18 years, from which she retired in 2019. They were founding members at Kings Park International Church before joining their son 5+ years ago to help establish Riverlife Fellowship Chapel Hill as a place for families to grow in the Lord. They have been pre-marriage class facilitators and founded a seniors group at KPIC. Martha’s gift of hospitality makes her a natural for Hospitality leader.
